Create Your Legacy

A gift that gives forever

Every generation helps shape the future of our community.

A legacy gift is a lasting expression of your care for the community you cherish. It helps ensure that the causes and organizations closest to your heart continue to make a difference for generations to come.

Through a bequest or other planned gift, you can create an endowment that reflects your values, strengthens Jewish life, and provides ongoing support year after year.

Ways to leave a legacy

A Gift in Your Will

Bequests, restricted or unrestricted, are the most common way to leave a legacy. We provide sample bequest wording for you and your lawyer.

Life Insurance

Name us as owner or beneficiary of a new or existing policy, and see the impact grow with every premium paid.

RRSP or RRIF Beneficiary Designation

Name the Foundation as a beneficiary and reduce the tax burden on your estate.

Endow Your Annual Gift

Turn a gift you already make every year into one that continues after your lifetime, forever.

How it works

1

Have a conversation.

No commitment, no cost — just a conversation about what you'd like your legacy to be.

2

Bring in your advisor.

We work alongside your lawyer or financial advisor to make sure your plan fits your full estate.

3

We steward it, permanently.

Once your gift is in place, the Foundation manages it under the same oversight and reporting as every other fund for as long as the community exists.
